They make it seem like they are going back to the carrier by moving up very far* Ok, lesse, out of 50 suits. We have only 25 left. 50% losses. Tor is gonna be furious. Why did the shuttle land on the wrong side of the base. We can't use emp shells, it would disable our own units. We need some air units. Why are their now airplanes or airships anywhere. *catches himself using the enemy tactics* Oh yeah, we don't have planes. Well, by now, the forces that were against us are going to return to base to re-arm and re-armor. They will add more units to the group to replace the destoryed ones. Then that group will redirect to back the main force. Which means they may get destroyed too. We have to land there. We can distract them from up here though until we are in posistion to re-enter. Fire random cannon blasts at the base, they don't have to hit, but it will make them think a force is coming in and they will slow their retreat. Buying the main group some more time. *the cannons on the bottom of the shuttle fire off blast just for effect, not really doing damage* Ok, 20 minutes until re-entry.

As Kayl begins to leave Bhaal quickly catches him on his shoulder and turns him around.

I've just thought of the perfect man to join you. He's one of the special pilots that guard the compound. Very skilled and not on any of the records for security reasons. I'll have him found and sent to your room in a few minutes. I just need to find the time to find him.

*I leap to the side and engage my thrusters to get ouf of the way of the incoming rockets. They both bend around, trying to match my movement. Thankfully they're coming too fast and take too long to turn. One of them careens into the Valkyrie I was going to attack, obliterating it instantly. The Rocket doesn't even detanate until it strikes the ground beyond it. An EMP wave then spreads out around it, disabling several closeby dolls, both friend and foe.

*As I flee from the second rocket which is still alive and heading toward me, dispite its tracking being diabled by its sister-rocket's EMP blast; I see a shuttle heading out over the battlefeild.. toward my base.*

'GAH! A spearhead.. toward my very own base. I'm here meeting a diversion.' my thoughts ring through my head, 'Base probably already knows about it. And at least the stupid shuttle took out one of its own.'

*I continue to look for an escape from the second rocket in the couple of seconds I have before it impacts close enough to me to knock out my systems. With a couple of keystrokes on the console inside my cockpit, I sacrifice my supporting Virgo to the rocket. It leaps in front of it, causing it to detonate far enough behind me that I am able to escape the EMP wave.*

Damnit! Grah.. It wouldn't have done to be disabled this high up. I would have been missle-fodder for sure.

*An Aerie comes near to me, hoping to catch me off guard, but a few quick shots from my pistol to its head fell it to the ground.*

DOWN boy! *I step upon its abdoment, pinning it down, and draw my sword, which I use to sever it across its middle.

I stop to check the status of my other Virgos.. the damaged one actually remains while the other supporting Virgo has been destroyed. One healthy and one damaged Virgo remain in my group.*

I hope you guys are doing better under my command than your automated brothers are doing on their own.

*I look up through my frontal screen to search for a new target.. only to find it standing directly in front of me. It is the slender, powerful suit that I made note of before. Counselor's eyes meet with those of Jehuty.. a meaningful glance realized by the polots of the powerful suits. I press a button to open a very short-range open channel with the mysterious mech before me.*

Your fighting is extraordinary. It's a shame you're on the wrong side of this conflict.

With that the ensign left to fullfil his orders while more explosions could be heard from outside.

Pulling out of their possitions in the trenches and go back to the base and through it to the front lines while being attacked from the shuttle overhead taking sime but thankfully little damage as they rendevoud with the troops at the front nearly doubling the numbers of the troops there leaving it close to equally balanced once more

*a New dot appears on heavyarms radar and shoots rapidly towards vinces position. A fighter jet type craft passes by over head unleashing fire into the enemy*

You say you want me to concentrate on the base with my mechs. Ok, i will set them all to go around the enemy's flank and start firing on the base from high ground. If you can keep them covered, it shouldn't be too bad. I will move up too and use my high powered weapons to clear out the bases artillery. I have the range and accuracy that the dolls don't. And once the enemy doll's are gone. The shuttle will commence the base assault. ((I am gonna leave that up to you, when the enemy runs out of dolls. And forgive my ignorance, but could someone give me a breif rundown of the different classes of usual brahe mechs?))

Virgos: A suit made as a culmination of the design of the gundams veyate and mercurius. These are the strongest of the oz forces. They sport powerfull sheild generators and a stronger beam cannon than any other suit. Later on white fang custom designed flight type virgos.

Toryu showed me some sight that had pictures of loads of different suits from all different gundam series the other day but i cant remember the address so im sure he can give it to you

Looks like we are taking the upper hand. Let's take a look for some of that heavy artillery.

Gonna take a min to recharge my laser. But a little pressure has been relieved. *a small monitor on his control panel flashes and the message "Incoming video feed" is displayed. 2 seconds later a live satillite feed is showing the enemy base from above with extrodinary detail*

This is interesting, there are people running out the doors left and right hoping in transport aircraft. Are they prepping to leave? I think we are taking the upper hand for real now.

*wires to vince* Hey vince, you seeing this video? they are loading transports, i think they are going to leave. If we can give a few more really hard pushes, we may be able to capture some people. I am working on removing a small group of the remaining artillery that the shuttle can't hit. In fact, i'm ready to fire again.

*The laser finishes charging and shadow re-aims and takes out 3 artillery with his next shot*

With the troops now evacuating the buildings into shuttles the Virgo's pull back to create shields around the transports and begin to tkae off with them while the Leos begin to launch a full on assault into the rebel ranks either knocking over and damaging or even destroying a large amount of the rebel forces dissorientating them while the shuttles pull away leaving the few remaining dolls to continue there now hopeless fight regardless in kamakaze charges at the enemy

Ok, last push people. Shuttle lift off and use heavy repeating weapons to take out the suidcide suits.

Vince, since my force is already on the flank, and their artillery is gone, i am having my mechs move into the base and clean it out, we will attack the main force from their rear at the same time. My main concern is their left behind dolls that we may be able to commandeer.

Attempt to disable all the Virgo suits you can!
Leos are secondary targets. Attack only when attacked by them.
We need as many as possible.

Tor and her 3 Elite Virgo units begin to avance on the base, with several Valkyries providing cover as they go. Several of the Valkyries are hit by fire, but the shielding systems of the Virgo units protects them from most of the damage

Everybody your mission is to infiltrate the base and deactivate defenses, there shouldnt be any real resistance once you get inside. Shadow can i count on you to take a team on foot in their and override their systems?

*vince sends a coded signal to his second in command with the Warren. The message is recieved.
500 mobile suits had been steadily moved to the access tunnel pointing at the enemey base and they were now released and on their way. The remaining 250 began to swarm through the vertical exits and attack in a hit and run against the force in the mountains to give the diversionary force a chance to escape with them.*

Vince: we're relocating our forces to this base, and rebuilding it bigger and stronger than before. We will have 500 suits here within half an hour. then we can set up a defense. Shortly after that we will be recieiving our remaining forces followed by upwards to 200 enemey.
Firsts things first we need to get this base ready for them

Let's stop them from taking all their stuff with them, why don't we? But first, the defence systems. They are just down this hall.

*shadow's group moves down the hall and takes out a few guards on the way. When they reach the room shadow logs into the control base and shuts off the defense systems. When this is done, an alarm sounds alerting the few guards to intruders. They quickly come to the area and a one sided fire fight ensues, all the guards are easily dispatched*

Ok, defenses, are ours. Let's check out a few of the hangers that the computer said have some mechs in them. It said their were 10 aries class and 2 leo's remaining in the base. Not much, but everyone counts.

The Commander flips a switch in his cockpit that causes different parts of his suit to engage. He takes a few steps foreward and stares out of the large bay door as the enemy forces begin rushing on the base.

Commander: "The defense grid is down aleady. They're coming."


He smirks, despite the dispair in his heart. At the very least, they won't know he's here. He knew someone would tap into the computers and access the internal and external security systems, so he sent a video loop into the cameras. They'll only be seeing a couple of leos and less than a dosen Aeries in the entire base.

Commander: "You can't have MY base without a fight. She's yours over my dead body. ..literally."

The commander picks up the picture of his wife that he has lain in the corner of one of his monitors and places it in the right breast pocket of his jumpsuit. Bhaal would see that his wife and children would be well cared for. He was a good leader, after all. This would be a cause worth dying for.

Commander: "Come get me, you bastards. FOR BRAHE!"

With that, the Commander greets the incoming resistance fighters, taking them down one after another at close range. His supporting Virgos give him cover and pick off Aeries that attack him while he's destroying other, stronger dolls. The commander continues to fight, knowing that eventually death will come. These are odds that no man can face. Not even Wing Commander Jersit Sree of Brahe's elite armed forces.

((One of you guys come fight and kill this guy. If I'm not around, feel welcome to control him. But remember that he's a commander. So he's good. Make it dramatic if you do.))

Your rebellion is nothing special. I know what you're up to. Even if my home base is yours, you will lose this war. That base won't exist for long under your control. I imagine Lord Bhaal would rather have it blown from the face of the planet. So enjoy your supposed triumph while it lasts.

*With that, I clench my suit's fist and pull the energy into my gauntlet blade. I use it to fire a burst of energy from the blade that retains its shape, causing the energy blast to have a much better piercing ability. Hopefully enough to finish off Jehuty so that he will not be among the few that leave this doomed battle in order to join his comrads at their victory.*

*Nemesis launches jehuty straight towards his enemey once again, on the way charging up a blast of his own. Upon reaching the Counsellor the two blasts hit and merge together. They swell up in a eruption of power and envelop the two suits in their midst, the charge before the inevitable explosion shakes jehuty around violently*

Nem: ...ADA...open the....recharge points.....we're getting the.....boost of.....a lifetime...

*Jehutys refeuling hatch slides open and immediatley the pulsating red glow of the surrounding blast begins streaming into the suit which starts glowing red itself.

Outside of the enclosed orb the reinforcements of the 250 hit and run troops begin to swarm out of the warren and come to the aid of what remains of the diversionary force.
In a sudden wave the crash the enemey front lines taking out dozens by suprise but then recieving many casualties of their own as the rush past and proceed to head towards the miliatry base in an attempt to get back before their enemey*

Hmm, mostly empty, let's move inside people.

*Shadow moves his mech forward. But as he turns a corner, another mech steps on from of him. Laser pistol raised*

Commander: Well well well, you look lost, don't you know the rest of your group is out there?

Shadow: Who are you? *shadow steps back and pulls out his beam sword with his non-gun equipped hand*

Commader: Only the commander of this base. That you have been oh so persistant in trying to take. I know the base will fall, but i wish to die in battle, not sitting at a desk.

Shadow: I see, how do you want to finish this? Suit to suit duel? Or shall i have my squad take you out?

Commander: Shall we dance?

Shadow: Indeed.

*The two suits take a few steps back each, and shadow powers up the beam saber. The commander pull out a saber also, Both are posed to kill. Shadow makes the first move and fires off his laser from a distance to throw off the commander and it does a little, as shadow gets to move in and a lay a heavy beam saber attack on his mech, although blocked, it takes a lot of power to stop*

Commander: Ahhh, you are not as bad as I expected, but alas, your still a rookie!

*The commander thrusts his suit forward pushing shadow back a few yards. He then fires off a shot with his pistol and shadow activates his added on thrusters and speeds away from the attack*

Well, looks like somebodys a little old, movin slow...

*Shadow returns with multiple slashes to the commanders suit. The commander takes a few hits here and there as shadow then presses a button and at close range, an EMP attachment throws itself at the commanders suit. A blue light fills the air around the suit*

Commander: What is this! My suit, it's powering down?!

Shadow: EMP, you should know that. It disables most electronics. Thank you very much. Let's finish this. The day is waning.

*Shadow raises his laser to the near frozen suit and preps to fire*

Commander: You will not succede. Bhall will crush you. And have you all executed. Bhall is eternal, bhall is salvation. He is a god!

Shadow: Then where is your god now?

*Shadow fires the last shot causing the suit to blow up in a massive explosion and he and his team take cover from the massive blast that damages much of the base*

I didn't want that to happen.

*Now, we return to after this fight, inside the base, after the weapons are offline*

I am going to assume the base is mostly empty, but i want teams of 2 to fan out. Patterson, *points to a man* you stay with me. We need to sey up a comm link with vince from here.

*They begin working on the comm link*
